School History
Al Azhar 9 Islamic Junior High School was established in 1999 as an expansion of Al Azhar 8 Islamic Junior High School, driven by the high demand for quality Islamic education in the Bekasi area. After obtaining its operational license, the school began academic activities in the 2001/2002 school year under the auspices of the Al Muhajirien Waqaf Foundation. From its inception, Al Azhar 9 Islamic Junior High School has been committed to providing excellent education both in academic achievement and Islamic character development.
Throughout its journey, the school has continued to grow into one of the leading Islamic educational institutions in Bekasi City, consistently achieving an A (excellent) accreditation. To this day, Al Azhar 9 Islamic Junior High School maintains high educational standards through its learning system, strengthening of academic and non-academic competencies, and innovation in the use of educational technology. With the latest updates in operational legality and ongoing management, the school continuously strives to produce high-achieving generations with strong Islamic character, ready to face the challenges of the times.
