12 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 H

The Commemoration of 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 H is a religious event to honor the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through a series of activities such as the recitation of shalawat (praises upon the Prophet), religious lectures (tausiyah), and collective prayers. This event is attended by the Principal, teachers, staff, and all students of SMP Islam Al Azhar 9 Bekasi. The activities take place in the hall and courtyard of Al Azhar 9 Islamic Junior High School.

The commemoration aims to instill the exemplary values of the Prophet in daily life, strengthen noble character, and increase students’ love for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The event begins with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the collective chanting of shalawat, a religious lecture delivered by an Islamic studies teacher, and concludes with a closing prayer. Students are also invited to reflect on the values and character of the Prophet and to apply them both at school and at home. Through this activity, it is hoped that all students will be increasingly motivated to emulate the qualities of the Prophet, such as honesty, trustworthiness, and compassion, in their everyday lives.
