Alignment of Perceptions about the Curriculum

Alignment of Perceptions about the Curriculum

April 10, 2026

The Alignment of Perceptions about the Curriculum is a forum for discussion and coordination that addresses the implementation of the national curriculum integrated with Al Azhar’s distinctive curriculum, as well as the strengthening of Islamic character education. This activity involves the Principal, Vice Principals in charge of curriculum, and teachers, and is held in the hall of SMP Islam Al Azhar 9 Bekasi.

Alignment of perceptions is necessary so that all school elements share the same understanding regarding learning objectives, competency achievements, assessment systems, and the strengthening of students’ character. With aligned perceptions, the learning process can run more effectively, in a measurable way, and be results-oriented. The activities are carried out through material presentations, group discussions, Q&A sessions, and the drafting of follow-up recommendations. Every participant is given the opportunity to express their views and input to improve curriculum implementation.

Through this activity, it is expected that solid collaboration between the school and parents will be fostered to support the achievement of the educational vision: to nurture students of noble character, high achievement, and a global outlook.
