National Batik Day

National Batik Day is commemorated through activities such as wearing batik, learning about the history and meaning of batik patterns, and cultural performances by students. These activities are attended by the Principal, teachers, staff, and all students of SMP Islam Al Azhar 9 Bekasi. The commemoration is held every October 2nd, coinciding with National Batik Day.

This celebration aims to instill pride in Indonesian culture, preserve batik as a national identity, and foster students’ character to appreciate cultural diversity.
