Teachers’ Day

Teachers’ Day is commemorated every November 25th as a form of appreciation for the role and dedication of teachers in educating the nation, coinciding with the founding of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in 1945. This commemoration is celebrated by all teachers, students, educational institutions, and the Indonesian community in schools and various educational institutions across Indonesia through flag ceremonies, giving appreciation to teachers, student creative performances, and reflection activities on the role of teachers in shaping the character and future of the nation’s next generation.
